Preventive therapy

Preventive therapy is a therapeutic intervention aimed at preventing disease. The goal of preventive medicine is to promote health and reduce the risk of disease, injury, disability, and death. This includes actions devoted to eliminating, eliminating, or reducing the effects of disease and disability. Preventive therapy is generally classified into 5 categories: primary and early prevention, primary prevention, secondary prevention, tertiary prevention, and quaternary prevention.
